Enhance the way you experience music and communication in your home by installing the IST I2000 Music Intercom Kit. Designed for new construction, the system combines music distribution and intercom communications. The sleek Master Station features a built-in speaker, connection points for external audio sources, radio and more. The four Room Stations produce crisp, clear audio for four additional rooms. The system can play up to three different audio sources at once. Need to talk to someone in another room? Pause your tunes and make an intercom call. This system even allows you to answer your door via intercom. How It Works: The Master Station allows you to communicate with and play music through any and/or all stations. The system supports up to 20 stations total, allowing you to add stations as needed. Master Station: Features a built-in AM/FM radio with 10 presets, a dock for MP3 players and other audio sources, USB/Firewire ports, and optional door release. You can control volume levels, bass and treble levels, and settings. (4) Room Stations: Each allows you to communicate with other stations and play music distributed from the Master. When a call is initiated, all stations are paged. When the call is answered, the conversation becomes private to the two stations involved. Door Station: When a visitor presses the doorbell button on the Door Station, all the stations in your system will produce your selected doorbell chime. You can then answer the door from any station. You can create an entire whole-room audio system with the Master Station or any Room Station by connecting 8-ohm 30W speakers (sold separate) to the unit. KIT INCLUDES: Master Station (I2000M); (4) Room Stations (I2000R); Door Station (I2000D); (4) Hanger Brackets for MP3 Player (I2000HGR); Personal Music Player Door (I2000PMPDoor); Bluetooth Receiver (BT-Receiver). NOTE: Not all installation accessories are included. Requires IST Rough-In Kit for I2000 (I2000H, sold separate) for installation.
