  • The aluminum chassis, specially designed for K2, enhances the excursion of the coil. Rigid, non-magnetic, and purpose-built, it facilitates sustained, dynamic bass, contributing to the overall quality of sound reproduction.
  • The aramid fiber cone, a result of Focal's unique expertise, combines an ultralight foam core with layers of aramid fiber and fiberglass. This sandwich construction optimizes rigidity, lightness, and damping for precise and dynamic sound reproduction.
  • Featuring Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) technology, the surround controls resonance effects, minimizing distortion associated with cone deformations. This technology ensures perfectly defined and realistic midranges for an immersive audio experience.
  • The 'M'-profile TKME tweeter extends the frequency response up to 22 kHz, with minimal distortion. Utilizing a 'push-pull' motor based on IAL2 technology, it achieves low resonance frequencies, contributing to a perfect harmonic balance in the high treble.
