This is a yellow 1000 foot fiber optic cable spool for high speed and long distance rides. It consists of 24 single mode fiber 9 micron core inside aramid threads wrapped in a yellow PVC outer jacket. Single-mode fiber is optimized for work with fiber optic equipment that uses 1310nm nanometer or 1550nm optical wavelength. Clad diameter is 125 microns. The core and cladding of our yellow bulk distribution fiber optic cables are built using high quality Corning SMF28 Ultra Singlemode fiber that comply with ITUT G.652.D and backwards compatible with other legacy single mode fibers. This particular cable is riser rated CMR and is UL 1666 compliant. For vertical tray applications without environmental air These cables are self-extinguishing and vertical combustion tests to prevent the flame from moving on the cable. This fiber optic cable is constructed with rugged construction, UL and RoHS compliant.
